Chelsey Nabeta is a Colorado transplant, living in Falcon with her husband Isaac and five children.  She has a long history with the business of babies, starting as a doula in 2006 and working as a midwife for a few years before becoming a nurse in 2014.  She worked in a family practice setting before leaving the workforce to become a stay-at-home mom.  She began working with CHAM in 2016 as the physical assessment instructor and completed her bachelor's degree a few days after her third baby was born at home in December of 2018.

Chelsey has delivered all  of her babies naturally without pain medication.  Her first birth (2016) was a 14 hour drug-free hospital induction in Iowa.  Her second birth (2017) was a long-awaited home waterbirth with her local CNM in Falcon, CO after an easy 8 hour labor.  Her third birth (2018) was an unintentional unattended shower delivery after a 30 minute labor!  Her fourth baby (2020) was delivered LMA in the water at home after an easy 2 hour labor in January 2020.  Her fifth baby (2021) was her largest (weighing in at 9#12!) and was born in the water at home after a 3 hour labor.  Chelsey and Isaac celebrate their three children in Heaven as well: Neriah (2015), Talia (2016) and Gideon (2017).
